Since then he has been winning competitions all over the world. Bangsø’s rendition of Scarlatti’s Sonata in D minor at last year’s Antony Guitar Competition won him first prize and the audience award. In the above clip, Liu performs Fernando Sor’s Grand Solo. At 14 years old Liu, who has been studying guitar (and piano) since age five, shows no signs of slowing down.
